CoverThane, formerly known as Dura-Coat PU400, is an innovative, water-based aliphatic urethane coating that is both safe and high-performing. This odorless coating is a single-component product with a cross-linker additive and contains no volatile solvents, isocyanates, or other hazardous materials. CoverThane provides a unique combination of durability, aesthetic appeal, and abrasion resistance.

• Versatile Application: CoverThane can be applied using an airless spray, brush, or roller. Product Specifications:

• Packaging: Available in 1-gallon and 5-gallon sizes.

• Coverage: A two-coat application over primer is recommended. The coverage is approximately 9.2m2/l @ 1.2mils (60 microns) DFT.

• Application Temperature: The ideal application temperature is 12∘C/59∘F to 30∘C/86∘F.

• Gloss Availability: CoverThane is available in both gloss and matt finishes.

How to Apply:

For best results, proper surface preparation is crucial. New concrete must be cured for a minimum of 28 days. All surfaces must be free of dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign matter that could interfere with bonding. On metallic substrates, proper surface preparation is critical for long-term performance.
